Adult Counselling
Taking the step to come to counselling and explore your experiences with another person is a big step and one that I never take for granted. It’s my true honour to be a witness and, when necessary, a guide as you navigate your life, through all of its challenges and its joys. I provide counselling to adults of all ages, whether you’re learning to navigate new independence as a young adult or you have many years of wisdom and experience and find yourself in a place where an outside perspective feels necessary.
If you experience anxiety or depression as you navigate the demands of life, if you recognize how your difficult or traumatic childhood experiences are impacting you today, or if you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s big existential questions, I would love to come alongside you to help navigate this time in a healthy and life-giving way so you build the life skills and perspective to move forward with confidence.
Issues we can work through together include:
anxiety in all its forms
depression, sadness, and loneliness
suicidal ideation and self-harm
difficulty with sleep and other day-to-day functioning
relationship issues and break ups
navigating gender and sexual identity
living with ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergence
and many more life scenarios
Ultimately, our relationship is key and that’s where we’ll start - creating a safe and supportive environment for you to feel comfortable opening up, identifying your struggles, and then together we will work towards possible solutions, greater confidence, and life-giving change in order for you to work through what’s making life extra hard right now. We can meet either in person in a relaxed office setting or online with secure video.
Session cost: $150 for 60 minutes
